While I was searching YouTube for sexy sexy summer updos, stylish mom ponytails, and updos that hide your ears, I stumbled across a channel called The Small Things Blog, and I instantly fell in love. It is PACKED with simple hair tutorials for medium-length hair, and Kate has a way of breaking them down so they are really easy to do.
Of course, working with medium-length hair isn’t always easy, especially if it’s layered, but using dry shampoo for texture (of all the ones I’ve tried, my fave is Batiste Dry Shampoo), lots of bobby pins (I find the Goody Ouchless Bobby Pins stay in place the best) and liberal amounts of hairspray (I swear by Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray because it holds my hair well without making it look wet) can do wonders in helping you pull off these looks.
From the messiest of buns and a casual half-up to a classic French twist and Kate’s famous ‘Easier Than It Looks Updo’, these hairstyles will keep your locks looking stylish throughout the seasons.
