How to make a DIY Clay Flower Photo Frame
1. Combine 1 cup of cornstarch and 1/2 cup of PVA glue. Mix the two ingredients until they remain together.
2. Knead the clay for a couple of minutes. If it is too sticky then add some more cornstarch. If the clay is flaky then add more PVA glue.
3. Sprinkle cornstarch onto the table and roll the clay flat.
4. Use a large flower cookie cutter to create a clay flower.
5. Place a smaller clay flower into the middle of the large flower and remove the middle piece of clay.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have used all of the clay.
7. Place the clay flowers onto a tray lined with baking paper and brush off any excess cornstarch.
8. Allow the clay flowers to dry overnight.
How to decorate your DIY Clay Flower Photo Frame
1. Paint each flower using acrylic paint. Our flowers required at least two coats of paint.
2. Print out the photographs you require. Place the large flower cookie cutter on top of the photograph. Use it as a template to draw around the inside of the flower and cut it out.
3. Place a small amount of PVA glue around the end of the photograph.
4. Position the DIY Clay Flower on top of the photograph and press down firmly.
5. Allow the glue to dry.
