If you have a big date night planned with your special someone and want to look glamorous, these date night makeup tutorials are for you! Some are more understated while others are a little more dramatic, but all of them will make you look and feel beautiful. These are the perfect formal makeup tutorials for other special occassions like weddings and prom, too. Good luck and enjoy!

My husband took me out for a fancy dinner for my birthday last weekend, and it gave me the perfect excuse to get dressed up and feel like a woman again after 5+ months of trekking through snow, ice, and subzero temperatures with my almost-4-year-old.

It was glamorous.

And thanks to my favorite Jillian Michaels’ workouts and these amazing date night makeup tutorials I found on YouTube, I was able to fit into my favorite cocktail dress and wow my husband with Jaclyn Hill’s sexy smokey cat eye look (see tutorial # 3!).

We had such a good time together and vowed we would make date nights more of a priority as the weather improves, which will give me the perfect excuse to try out more of these looks.

Let me know which ones are your favorite!

1. Romantic Date Night Makeup Tutorial by Lauren Curtis

If you want to draw attention to your eyes, but like a more understated look, this tutorial is for you!

2. Get Ready with Me: Date Night by Carli Bybel

I bought the Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette a few months ago and I really love it, so I was particularly excited when I saw this date night makeup tutorial by my gal Carli. She always makes herself look glamorous, and taught me some great techniques to get the most out of this palette!

3. Smokey Cat Eye by Jaclyn Hill

I have shared this tutorial so many times already, and I’m sharing it again because I absolutely LOVE this look. I am not nearly talented enough to make myself look as gorgeous as Jaclyn, but practice makes perfect, right??

4. Formal Event Makeup by Michelle Phan

If you want to know how to get a glamorous look for a big night out but can’t afford expensive makeup, you will LOVE this tutorial as it only uses drugstore makeup. Oh, and just so you know, the Maybelline Falsies Mascara Michelle uses is AWESOME! I use it without false eyelashes, but as you can see from Michelle’s finished look, the 2 combined make a really sexy, dramatic combination!

5. Natural Glam Makeup Tutorial by Jaclyn Hill

If you have a more casual date night planned and/or prefer a more natural and feminine look, you will love this tutorial!
